Make Up | MAC Crosswires

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Crosswires £14.00

This is totally and utterly Estee's fault from essiebutton.com . I went to buy a MAC lipstick online as a treat to myself, I had a choice in my mind of either Fanfare or Costa Chic and then I saw on Estee's blog her wearing Crosswires, and I just thought sod it I have to have it. So had it I did. I ordered it and voila, I love it so much I'm not even waiting a week to review it.

It's one of their cremesheen formula lipsticks - I'm still trying to understand the different between all their different types, but for me compared to the other two lustre ones I have, this is a bit sheerer and with a tad more gloss to it or "sheen" as the name suggests.

The colour itself is a gorgeous coral pink that is just right for everyday. It's described by MAC as a "clean pinky orange" and I have to say I definitely agree. It's not too orangey, and it's not too pink. (I sound like Goldilocks). It's more colour than usual, but not too much - even the boy likes it and he hates coloured lipsticks. It's incredibly wearable and lasts for hours, for me it lasted longer than the lustre ones I have.

It's one of those things you wear that when you walk past a window everytime you look and think "oooo pretty lipstick". I love it. It's my new best friend. We go everywhere together. Yes, I'm crazy.

This is definitely one of my most favourite lipsticks in the world - no I haven't used everyone in the world but this is amazing. I have since purchased Fanfare as well so that review will pop up soon, but I'm SO glad I bought this on impulse. Thank you Estee! It's my favourite MAC lipstick so far and hasn't left my lips since it arrived!

Also. Sorry for the moody picture above. Was the best to show the lips!
