The Food Post | Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

I had a real urge to bake something the other day and I couldn't be bothered to go out to buy pieces so I had a look in my cupboard to try and make something with bits I already had. Cookies popped into my head and I went on the hunt for a good cookie recipe!

Luckily I have Tanya Burr's book "Love Tanya" which has two cookie recipes inside, one of which I based these massive cookies on. Really, they are huge. I'm not even going to pretend to take credit - this is Tanya's recipe so I will link to it on her blog here if you want to try it yourself. The main difference for mine is that I didn't use white chocolate - not a huge white chocolate fan if I'm honest. 

These were so quick and easy to make and I had everything already which made life happier indeed. I think next time I might definitely try and put rolos in there maybe or galaxy caramel pieces to add something a little bit different...
