You know when you catch a whiff of a scent and you just know it's going to be the one for the summer? That's how I felt when I first smelt this range. Baylis and Harding bring out different scents every summer, and this one is definitely a beauty.
This particular range is from their Garden House collection, which was launched to coincide with the Chelsea Flower Show. They bought out two fragrances, Lavender and Rose and this one - Lemon and Chamomile. Usually I would have gone down the lavender route (mothers influence) however I do like my citrus scents and I was eager to try the candle from this collections.
The Lemon and Chamomile Single Wick Candle* is delicious. I love the scent this gives off - it's incredibly subtle but just enough that it lingers nicely in the background. It's also not too citrussy so for those who aren't a fan of the traditional citrus scents don't worry - you won't get it with this. It's just a very subtle addition.
Then we have the Luxury Travel Kit*, which includes a shower cream, hand and body lotion, and body wash. You would have seen the hand and body lotion in my June favourites and it is my favourite from the kit. I've used a little of the shower cream and body wash but I am saving the majority of it for my holiday in August - as they are the perfect holiday additions. Again the scent is subtle, sweeter than the candle, but still very nice. The body wash is good for a quick shower and go, but the shower cream is lovely and nourishing. The hand and body lotion has lived in my handbag as it is the perfect travel companion right now. The skin sucks it in and uses ever bit of moisture and I love it. Not sticky, no left over residue. Perfect really.
This range is the perfect summer companion and I love this range. Definitely my favourite new scent so far this summer...
