I've probably said this a few times on here, but I do love a bright pink lip in summer. As much as I love reds, pink rules the roost this time of year and as with most bold colours, I do prefer them with a matte finish. This little product is right up that street.
Matte formulas are perfect for summer as they tend to just stay and not melt away with the heat, and this one is no exception. The Hot Matte Velvet Waterproof Long Lasting Lipstick in Shade 9* from BornPretty is literally the perfect matte pink for summer. It's the right amount of blue tone to it without looking cold, and the right amount of staying power. The packaging is very similar to Topshop's lip products, however I like the mint green of these lipsticks - it's incredibly pretty and again, summer ready indeed.
I only have one very small gripe and that's the shape of the bullet - it's a flat circle so it's not the easiest for application, however once you've used it a couple of times it moulds to your lip shape anyway so it's not a problem.
