This autumn is all about new starts for me, in many different ways. I love autumn, the crisp mornings, cosy candles, return of favourite tv shows, and many birthdays. Therefore it only seems right that my favourite season is also the catalyst for a brand new way of thinking.
I know I know, New Year's isn't for another few months. But why wait? My new change is all centred around one thing. I start a new job in a couple of weeks, and while it's the same type of role I'm already doing it's set off many other changes. For starters, it's not in London, which means no more commuting for me. I'll be leaving the London working life behind and settling as I should be. Honestly, I cannot wait. I will definitely miss London but I know it's the right thing to do.
I've also come around to a new mind set in a couple of things. Firstly, health. I have felt so unhealthy lately, lethargic and just plain lazy. I eat too much crap basically, and no enough exercise so this is going to change. I'm now planning meals in advance (with the help of the Hairy Dieters), choosing healthy meals and snacks, as opposed to massive portions and lazy eating. I'm also looking to start exercising more, including zumba and running - wish me luck on that one. I'll be sure to keep you guys up to date.
My wardrobe also needs a bit of a shake up. Going back to being in an office full time means I really need to sort out a capsule work wardrobe. Mine, again, is just so lazy and I don't really feel anything about it. I'd love to be proud of my work style and have key pieces I can work around as opposed to feeling lost every time I look in the wardrobe. This also goes for my everyday look as well. I feel the need to get back into a style and find my signature look.
With all this in mind, it only felt right that I give the blog a little face lift. I did a redesign earlier this year but still wasn't 100% happy with it. Now however I am, I love the new look and I'm back to posting on a range of topics. I hope you like it too!
And as you can see, Fred is loving autumn too the little rascal.
