It's been a long time since I've done a "feature" on my blog, or at least a reoccurring one. However, what I'd love to do is build a new beauty feature into T&M. Therefore what I'm going to do, is at the beginning of every month introduce 5 new beauty products into my routine, introduce them to you, and then at the end of the month I'll give you my thoughts.
So let's get started with January! A couple of these I was gifted for Christmas, and the others I found whilst doing a major bathroom clear out and realised I'd never used them. So time to give them a go!
The first is the Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche Eau de Toilette, a very lovely Christmas present. It's also my first ever Chanel fragrance and I'm expecting big things. There's a few different Chance scents, but this is the floral zesty one. First impressions, I really like the scent, it feels much more grown up then my previous ones. However, it's contending with my current favourite Dior so we'll have to see if I start grabbing the Chanel instead on a daily basis.
I also got a gift box of Sanctuary Spa goodies, which isn't a brand I usually find myself drawn to. So I'm really pleased to have the chance to try their goodies. In particular this month I'm really going to focus on the Velvety Hand Cream, which smells divine, and is perfect for this time of year when my hands get really dry. And I'm also really intrigued to try their Gentle Polish Body Scrub, which is good timing as my Soap & Glory fave has just run out.
Something I found buried in my beauty draws that I've added to this months list in the Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser. I am very fussy with my facial moisturisers, but on first impressions this is really light and doesn't feel greasy. It sinks in nicely so it'll be interesting to see if this can be a day moisturiser for me, and how make up sits on top of it.
Lastly we have something I have tried once before, and not since - and I should. It's the Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Intensive Oil Rescue Masque. I absolutely love the the shampoo and conditioner from this range, it's completely transformed my hair, so I'm hoping the mask will just make it even better. I'm not a huge hair mask person, so I'm hoping this reforms me. I love that it's a pop lid as opposed to a screw top or something like that. So fingers crossed this will be awesome.
So, with this in mind, I'll be bringing these products back to you at the end of January to let you know how I got on with everything.
